Yes- Scootie’s Petcare is a licensed and insured LLC. We take great care to provide a safe, professional, and reliable environment for every dog, while maintaining the warmth and attention of a home setting.

We are based in East Gloucester, MA and our clients come from Gloucester, Rockport, Essex, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Beverly and for boarding even as far as Newton and Waltham, where we first started our business.

We are best suited for adult small dogs under 30 pounds with a gentle temperament. To maintain a calm and balanced environment for all dogs in our care, we are not able to accommodate puppies. We are also not able to accept dogs with a history of biting or aggressive behavior. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies and Bordetella. To support a clean, low-shedding space, we are not able to accept high-shedding breeds.

Yes! We have a spacious back deck connected to a fenced-in yard, along with access to a beautiful coastal road nearby that we enjoy exploring on walks with the dogs.
